A Review of Anxiety in Physician Assistants' Work
Andrea Kozak, Associate Professor of Psychology, and Breanne Dixon, Health Sciences major, conducted a systematic review of anxiety symptoms among physician assistants. Ms. Dixon plans to present her findings that PAs face a challenging work environment without the benefit of the deference granted to higher-ranking medical staff at the March 2017 Society of Behavioral Medicine conference in San Diego, CA.
After earning her undergraduate degree this fall (2016), Ms. Dixon intends to pursue a professional degree as a physician assistant.
